A huge well done to all the boys and girls in Primary 4A for putting on a super Easter Assembly on Friday. You researched and wrote the whole thing yourselves and you put on an excellent performance.

Primary 4A had great fun working together learning all about Fair Trade during Global Citizenship week. We linked this to articles in RRS using our UN Convention on the Rights of the Child posters.
Freya Lee in P4A took part in the Ayrshire Association of Burns Clubs School Competition at St Joseph’s Academy and won 3rd place for P4/5 Verse Speaking. What a fantastic achievement. Well done Freya!!
Congratulations to all the other children who also made it to these finals. They were all delighted to give up their Saturday to represent the school and we couldn’t be prouder.

P4A enjoyed playing out in the snow on Wednesday. It was very cold but we all had great fun!!
P4A had a super time during Scottish Week. We learned all about Robert Burns, how to celebrate a Burn’s Supper and even made our very own Scottish Gingerbread Men iced with kilts.
In P4A we were discussing what kindness means to us. We believe that when you are kind, you make the world a happier, safer place. Have a look at our photos to see what kindness means to us, sharing a smile with each other and words that show we think mean kindness and caring for others.
We have got lots of exciting things ahead of us this term that will be keeping us very busy. We are looking forward to STEM Fortnight, our new topic on Rivers and Mountains and our class and Base visits to the cinema and the Science Centre.
