P6A are attending the Day of Dance on Wednesday 14th November from 9.15am until 12.20pm. We are looking for 2 parents to help us please. However, in addition it would be really helpful if you were able to come along to our P.E. sessions at 11am on the next 3 Fridays, so that you are familiar with the dance. Our recent football and zumba sponsored event raised the fantastic amount of £4867.55. This amount will go a long way in helping to fund new playground equipment, which will benefit all pupils. More details of this in due course.

Primary 5/6 and Primary 6 submitted entries to The Scottish Engineering Leaders Award. This involved them designing something which is not already on the market.
The Scottish Engineering Leaders Award Public Exhibition of children and pupils’ invention illustrations will be open to the public at the Barony Hall, Glasgow on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th June 2018.
We are delighted that the following pupils from Gargieston Primary School have been chosen to be put on display : Isabelle Simons , Emily Tannock & Roan Darnbrough .

Next week – 21st – 24th May – is Walk to School Week.
All children in the ECC and Primary are encouraged to participate in this event.
Every day there is a different theme:
Monday – walk to school wearing sunglasses.
Tuesday – walk to school with happy shoes. (these can be bright shoes or just shoes that are not normal school shoes)
Wednesday – walk to school wearing odd socks.
Thursday – walk to school wearing a hat.
This year it is the class, ECC group with the most children participating who will get a class certificate – not individual certificates.
