Good morning everyone!  I hope that you all managed to enjoy the Easter break and had a lovely time with your families.  We are so lucky that the weather has been good and the sunshine is set to continue this week.

The staff will be online again from today to chat to the children and set them some tasks and activities for the week.  Teams is a great way for the children to keep in touch with each other as well as their teachers.  If you have any difficulties accessing this, please let us know.

We are all missing the children and can’t wait to have them back in school.  But for now – stay home, stay safe and keep in touch 🙂

Yoga Pose of the Day

Good morning everyone 🙂 Hope everyone had a lovely holiday! Yoga pose of the day is back 😀 Hope you are all feeling refreshed and ready to get back into some home learning. Start off today giving todays pose a go:

‘Bow pose’.

Also with the weather being so nice recently, let me see you doing it with your sunglasses! I’m wearing my rainbow sunglasses for hope! 🌈🌞

Have a great day everyone, look forward to seeing you trying out todays pose. 🙂

Rainbows To Brighten Your Day!

The school railings are looking so colourful with all your beautiful pictures – the messages of thanks to our front line workers are so lovely too. It was great to see people reading them this morning as they walked past the school. Thank you also to the kind person who left a bag of tie wraps to help secure the drawings to the display!

Rainbow messages…

Thank you to all artists who have added their beautiful rainbows and messages to the school railings. How many more can we get?

Beautiful!

Thank you for the growing number of rainbows on the railings making everyone smile as they pass the school. Keep them coming, everyone!

Rainbows…

How lovely it is to see some rainbow pictures and messages of hope appearing on the school gates!

Wouldn’t it be lovely to see lots of these decorating our railings for people to read  and enjoy looking at as they walk past the school? Why not add to the collection – don’t forget to put your name on it too.

Stay safe everyone!

**** Primary 7s ****

With the continued uncertainty of a return date for everyone, our school photographer, Scott Walker, has put together a lovely alternative to the P7 end of session keepsake picture.

If you would like to order a 8″ x 10″ copy of this please log on to Scott’s website using the link below and use the password primary7 to access the image.

New Addition to the Gargieston Family

I am delighted to share with you the happy news that Mr & Mrs Baird, along with Cameron and James, have welcomed a beautiful baby boy into their family.

Patrick was born on Monday 6th April weighing a very healthy 9lb 4ozs.  As you can see in the pictures below, Mrs Baird and Patrick are both doing well.  We can’t wait until he can make his first trip to Gargieston to meet us all.

Congratulations to the Baird family from all of us at Gargieston 🙂
