The annual schools swimming gala information has now arrived at the school. It is open to any P5, 6 or 7 child, however, it is a very competitive event and we would recommend this for children who are club swimmers or strong swimmers through lessons.

The details are as follows:

Saturday 9th November

Warm-up at 12 noon, start at 12.45pm

Citadel Leisure Centre, Ayr

Children can enter up to 3 of the 50m events and should enough children come forward we would also enter a relay team. For more details or to enter, please contact Mrs Lawson with information on which strokes the child would like to compete in, plus any PB times by Wednesday 23rd October please.

If you would like to attend any of these sessions please add you name to the list on the communication board.

The ECC will be having a Halloween party on Thursday 31st October. Party will take place throughout the session. Children are encouraged to come in dressed up. Can all costume accessories please be clearly labelled with child’s name. No guns or swords please.

We were delighted to receive delivery of this sign today from Owen Kerr Signs.  This will be displayed in our playground as a visible reminder to all children to always strive to be ‘the nice kid’ 🙂
