Costume Wanted

P3A are wondering if anyone has an astronaut costume at home that we could borrow for our class assembly? It would be well looked after and returned on Friday 12th October.

Many thanks

Miss Caldow and Primary 3

P6 Hockey Club

Miss Davidson’s hockey club will be starting up again on Thursday 4th October for Primary 6 children. There will be eight sessions which will take us up to 29.11.18 excluding 18.10.18 (October holiday).

Please complete the attached form if your child would like to join the club.  We will be training outside whenever possible so long trousers, jumpers and waterproofs jackets are advisable!

We will begin using plastic sticks and balls but will quickly move on to using wooden sticks and harder balls therefore in a few weeks time the children will be required to wear shin guards and a mouth guard. These can be bought inexpensively from sports stores or borrowed from siblings who play football!

P5 Swimming

This is a reminder to all P5 children!

Swimming lessons begin on Tuesday 25th September. Please remember all of your swimming gear (swimsuit / trunks, swimming cap, goggles, towel and £1 for a locker). Wear your swimwear under your uniform so that we can get changed quickly (remember to pack underwear!) Bring a water bottle and snack as usual, these will be left at school for when we return. Bring a warm jacket as we will be walking to and from the Galleon.

Please be at school for 8:50 so we can leave sharp just after 9 o’clock! We will see you and our lovely parent helpers on Tuesday, enjoy your long weekend!
