Here are a few ideas for to get you started with your morning routine on Monday.
Use the boards to help the pupils to identify the day of the week, the weather and their daily emotions.
Please look at Lorna’s fantastic video for the sign of the day. She also shows you the signs for each day of the week to learn with the pupils.
Monday is usually Assembly day. I see Graeme has posted a link for Fishy music songs which our pupils sing at choir and assembly. You could watch and sing together.

Hi Lesley, nice to hear from you. I hope that Ashton is doing well at home? If you choose ‘Group 6’ on the right hand side of the dashboard and scroll down the posts you will see a picture of Lorna (under sign of the day 23.3.20) Lorna has put on a video of the sign of the day and she also signs out the days of the week. This is a good video to play and learn the signs with the children as they talk about the day of the week and use any of the ‘days of the week’ visuals that have been posted.
