Group 5 Story time Wednesday 27th May

Groups 9 and 11 Science Wednesday 27th May
This Science lesson is for young people who enjoy using the internet to watch videos, learn facts and do online tasks. If your young person does not enjoy using the internet check out the Science activities for groups 8 and 10 which are more hands-on
Group 8 – Tuesday 27th May
String painting – Art
Materials needed: string/wool, poster paints, paper
Method:
Dip a length of string/wool into some poster paint, keeping one end paint free. Take the string/wool and place it on your paper, either in a particular way or just as it natural wants to lie. Then give the clean end of the string/wool to the pupil and also them to pull it towards them, removing it from the paper. You can repeat this process using different colours, building up multiple layers.

Life skills
Language – Write your child’s name in capital letters. Write his name again (capital) and cut each letter of his name individually. Ask your son to spell the name matching the letters. You can use magnetic letters or others if you have.
P.E. – go on the PE section of the blog and choose one of the activities your PE teacher posted for you.
Story – Go to sensory section and enjoy the story massage with Nicole
Sign of the day – Don’t forget to be practising the sign of the day – if you want to send me a video then feel free
Art – Use recycle materials to make a girl or a boy.
HWB – Enjoy the sunny day and go play out say. Increase the vitamin D in your body and stay healthy.
