Primary 7

Following the success of our Remembrance assembly last week we have jumped straight in to our enterprise projects in preparation for our stalls at the Christmas Fair. We think Sir Allan Sugar would be very impressed with the enterprise ideas the primary sevens have thought of so far. We will be turning areas of our classrooms into finance, production, marketing and sales departments next week!

Within maths we are continuing our work with angles and we have also begun to look at co-ordinates, battleships anyone? In numeracy we are continuing to explore negative integers. As the temperature drops please challenge your children to work out the difference between positive and negative values.

We have attached a picture of a sign that is displayed in primary 7. It reinforces the message we give to pupils regarding social media. We would like to highlight that the legal age recommendation for using Snapchat and Facebook is 13. Within our health and wellbeing lessons, we continually remind pupils about the responsibilities which go along with using such communication tools .We fully appreciate that the use of certain social media site are completely out with the schools parameters , however, we would like to point out that any negative use can affect the class ethos .We would ask that all parents support us in highlighting the guidelines for responsible use . Many Thanks
