P2 update 16 March

Hello,

It’s been another busy week in primary 2.  We’ve been continuing to explore cold countries and have created our own leaflets with information about animals which live in cold countries.  In maths we have been learning about sharing out items equally which is the start of work on division.

Sports Relief

Thank you for your support for Sports Relief.  There are still wrist bands available for £1 and raffle tickets (50p a strip) to win Craig McLean’s swimming cap and top.  Craig is a commonwealth swimmer and former Carmondean pupil who came to talk to all the pupils.  As part of Sports Relief all pupils are trying to run around Scotland.  P2 and P2/3 managed the equivalent of 35 miles this week just running around the playground.  It was fun but exhausting!

Lastly, please don’t forget the dress down day next Thursday (22nd) for Sports Relief.

Have a great weekend!

Mrs Muir
