Primary 3 23/3/20

Good morning all, we hope you are well and are keeping yourselves safe! We have been so glad to see some of you being able to access Teams so far this morning and hopefully throughout the day the site will be running better to allow access to our assignments and files. We are looking forward to hearing from you and seeing the work you have produced! Remember that if work cannot be shared on Teams you can send them through Glow, going to Office 365 and selecting Outlook which will allow you to email your work to us. To access Teams go through Glow, Office 365 and select Teams. We have uploaded work there as well as the work in your work packs that were handed out last week. You can also communicate with us through the Blog by replying to this post. Although we are happy to see people doing work, remember to give yourselves plenty of breaks as we are not expecting every single piece of work to be completed, work through them in your own time.

We wish to reiterate that we do not want to put any extra pressure on children or parents as we completely understand how difficult a time this is for everybody so do what you can, when you can.

Remember, above all else, stay inside when possible, wash hands, keep clean, and stay safe. Keep up to date with how to stay safe and what the guidelines are on the NHS website.

Thanks for your continued support,

Miss Smith and Mr Woodward

  1. Thanks Miss Smith for uploading. We’ll get on with the work on here for now.
    Thanks for your help

  2. I will do my best to upload the resources I have digital copies of, to the blog. I think Mrs Harding took Sam’s pack, and his show clothes to pass them on to you? If not, I shall put them up on here anyway though. I hope this information helps 🙂

  3. Hi Miss Smith,
Thank you for that. We got into Teams and Sam’s delighted to be able to speak with you all and access some work. He didn’t get the pack as he wasn’t at school last week. Am I able to pick it up from somewhere this week?

  4. Hi Ashely, I hope Mr. Shanks has helped with this issue already, however, if not, Sam’s GLOW username is the one that begins WL and the password we all have (Remember the capital I) to access GLOW. To get to teams, you go in via GLOW, so if he is into his GLOW account, he then goes to his Outlook mail so that he can see the ‘waffle’ on the top left hand side. from here he can select ‘Teams’, however Primary 3 have most of their work in their pack currently. Only a few other files have been added to Teams, so please do not worry. The Blog is also being used for the infants as a means of communication with us. I hope this helps!

  5. Hi,
Once logged onto glow and then clicking on Office 365 sometimes it needs the glow email to log in again to office so that would be wl, then glow username, then @glow.sch.uk e.g. wlasmith@glow.sch.uk and then his glow password.

    Hope that helps!

  6. Hi Miss Smith,
Hope you are well. I am having a lot of trouble getting Sam W logged on to Teams. We can get on glow, but I’m not sure which log in details he uses to get onto Teams. I’ve tried all the log ins and passwords that he has. Any help appreciated

    Thanks
    Ashley
