The children are really enjoying our current topic of Hot and Cold countries. We’ve looked at which clothes an explorer would need in a cold country, have made our own passports, and today we made pencil drawings of a cold landscape.
In maths we’ve been working on doubles and near doubles. Why not ask your child to tell you the double of a number? With near doubles we are using our doubles knowledge to help us work out sums which are almost doubles. For example 6+7 would be worked out using our double 6 knowledge as 6+6+1.
PE is still on Monday (outside) and Wednesday (inside) so please ensure your child has PE kit for those days.
