Primary Six

Our week began with our Scots afternoon and Primary Six gave a cheerful performance of Wullie Stewart . Well done to all our musicians, you certainly added to song . Our focus in music continues to be the P6/7 show . Parts have now been allocated and the pupils must be complimented on their enthusiasm not only for their own roles but also those of their friends and peers. Great attitude Primary Six ! We also enjoyed a session with NYCOS and took part in a number of music challenges .
Please remember to look out for fractions, decimals and percentages in everyday life. Try to use fractions at home, for example if you are having pizza tonight we have willing pupils who will happily divide it for you!
On the whole we have noticed an improvement in the effort towards literacy circle homework. Please make sure the agreed pages have been read so that all pupils can fully contribute during our literacy circles sessions in class. Our new class library is almost completed and we can’t wait to use it.
