Sandwick JHS has a very successful DofE group, offering pupils between the ages of 14 to 24 the opportunity to gain Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.

Among our training activities are regular camps at the school, at a local bod and out in the wilds where we work on safety, map reading, compass work, tent skills, hiking and cooking.

Drop in sessions are held in the youth work room at Luncthimes and after school on Wednesdays. This is a good chance to get support in completing the online portfolio and answer any questions they may have.
