Primary 5/6

Learning at Home: Thursday 19th March 2020.

New learning material has been uploaded to our P5/6 class team on GLOW. Leave a comment to say hello and that you have been able to access it. Mrs Tate.

Learning at Home

During this time of school closure, P5/6 were given folders with learning for them to take part in at home. This week we have also set up a GLOW team for the class which is like a virtual classroom. The children can ask questions, share work and download files or they can private message Mrs Tate or Mrs Richardson. There are tutorials to help everyone access this resource on the main page of our school blog. If you have any problems though, please leave a comment here and someone will try to help you as soon as possible. Your GLOW username and password is glued onto the front of the homework folder you received on the last day of school. Please join the team and say hello this week.

Term 3:

P5/6 have been taking part in a number of amazing opportunities this term. They have had a number of visitors in helping them learn about Europe and Fairtrade. They created and presented their very own assembly to the rest of primary and their parents, became paired readers with P1/2 and have set up and run a very successful Fairtrade Tuckshop.

For Term 2 :

Teachers:

  • Mrs Diane Richardson (Mon-Thurs)
  • Miss Theresa Tate (Fri)

Royal Observatory Visit

We really enjoyed the astronomers visiting us with their Lego model rocket, and giving us lots of encouragement on studying Space. This is our interdisciplinary learning for this term.
