Room 4 worked hard during maths by plotting co-ordinates on a graph. Their finished work looks fantastic!

In school, all classroom doors and windows must be left open to allow adequate ventilation and to minimise the spread of coronavirus. As we are nearing winter, we would ask you to ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather both indoors and outdoors. We suggest that your child wears layers for their warmth and comfort. It is essential that your child wears a winter jacket with a hood as many of our PE lessons will take place outdoors.
Thank you for your support, understanding and co-operation.

Dear Parent/Carer,
Life in school is very different, but I have to say the children have been fantastic and are working very hard to follow new routines in and around the building. As a staff, we are constantly reviewing the guidance and adapting our practice and routines accordingly to keep pupils, staff and parents safe during this pandemic. We need your help!
The Scottish Government and North Lanarkshire have shared new COVID-19 guidance in relation to face coverings. Please see the video link below. All parents/carers are now required to wear a face covering when dropping off and picking up their child from school. The new guidance also states that all visitors to the school should be discouraged. Parents/carers should not enter into the school building or playground unless there is an absolute necessity for them to do so.

The children in Room 6 painted some beautiful sunsets over water using watercolours. They added some mysterious sea creatures. We were inspired by the book we are reading in class, “The Selkie Girl.”
