Making play dough
Today Primary 1/2 looked at how play dough can be made by measuring out flour, water and salt and mixing these together! They then added some colour and created some cool shapes, numbers and letters with their dough.

Room 1 Dance Stars
We played some music as we worked on Friday but this song saw us dancing into the weekend as the children just got up to dance along as they finished. Great work everyone and super dance moves. I think this video will make everyone who watches it smile 😀.

COVID Information Update
In school, all classroom doors and windows must be left open to allow adequate ventilation and to minimise the spread of coronavirus. As we are nearing winter, we would ask you to ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather both indoors and outdoors. We suggest that your child wears layers for their warmth and comfort. It is essential that your child wears a winter jacket with a hood as many of our PE lessons will take place outdoors.
Thank you for your support, understanding and co-operation.

COVID-19 Update and New Guidance
Dear Parent/Carer,
Life in school is very different, but I have to say the children have been fantastic and are working very hard to follow new routines in and around the building. As a staff, we are constantly reviewing the guidance and adapting our practice and routines accordingly to keep pupils, staff and parents safe during this pandemic. We need your help!
The Scottish Government and North Lanarkshire have shared new COVID-19 guidance in relation to face coverings. Please see the video link below. All parents/carers are now required to wear a face covering when dropping off and picking up their child from school. The new guidance also states that all visitors to the school should be discouraged. Parents/carers should not enter into the school building or playground unless there is an absolute necessity for them to do so.

Please help us by:
- Wearing a face covering when dropping off and picking up your child from school.
- Wearing a face covering if you have to enter the playground or school building.
- Phoning or emailing the school when making an enquiry.
- Phoning to make a scheduled appointment (if necessary) Please try to avoid turning up without prior notice.
- Dropping off/picking up your child at their allocated start/finish time only. This will help to alleviate congestion.
- Vacating the area as promptly as you can.
We appreciate that this is a difficult time for everyone. Thank you for your patience, understanding and support as we navigate our way through.
