The pupils in Room 10 had great fun making 3D Snowflakes and celebrating their success this term with a Christmas movie afternoon. They loved showing off their Christmas socks 🧦 🎅 🌲

The boys and girls in room 2 wrote some lovely Christmas themed acrostic poems!

We’ve had another amazing response to our Foodbank appeal this week. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated items to this worthy cause. We will have our final collection on Friday 18th December. Thank you again for your support.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Next week will be our last week of homework before the Christmas holidays.

REMINDER: Christmas Jumper Day is on Friday 11th December. Children are invited to wear casual clothes and Christmas Jumpers/dresses/accessories on this day.  A bucket will be placed outside the office for anyone who is wishing to make a donation to the Save the Children appeal.

December Newsletter 2020-2021

Thank you to everyone who donated to our first Christmas Foodbank Collection for Coatbridge Community Foodbank. The staff from the Foodbank will be collecting the items next week and we’re sure they’ll be delighted with the amount of donations. All of this food will help families in Coatbridge this Christmas. Don’t worry if you forgot today, there are still two more collections to come on Friday 11th December and Friday 18th December. Thank you again for supporting our Christmas Foodbank Appeal.

The snowy weather has inspired some beautiful writing from Room 4.  We worked together to create this poem. We used descriptive language, alliteration and the word like to compare one thing to another.  Well done everyone!
