Partnerships at Newark

 

Partnerships with Community and Outside Agencies

Here at Newark work in partnership with a variety of local businesses, churches, charities and take part in a range of local events. Some examples are below:

  • • Open Doors events
  • • Clyde Muirshiel
  • • Local care homes (Christmas singing)
  • • Inverclyde Music Festival
  • • Port Glasgow High School Sports Ambassadors
  • • Work experience opportunities
  • • West of Scotland College
  • • Inverclyde Foodbank
  • • Riverclyde Homes (local sculptures and woodland development)
  • • Scouts and other uniformed organisations
  • • Local sports clubs
  • • Port Glasgow Bulb Show
  • • Fairtrade events and awareness raising
We woked alongside Inverclyde foodbank and donated lots of different food to those in need.
We worked with local businesses to help us arrange a Fairtrade café for ‘Fairtrade Fortnight’.
