School Times
The school day starts at 8.50am and ends at 2.50pm. Primary 1-3 leave school from the Bridgend Avenue gates. Primary 4-7 leave the school from the Clune Brae gates.
Attendance/Absence
As you know, good attendance is a priority for Newark Primary. Excellent attendance is 95% or over, anything below 90% is a concern. Staff shared your child’s attendance at the parent progress meetings in October.
Please remember if your child is going to be late or absent to phone the school office to let us know why by 9.15am (01475 715600). If you expect your child to be in before lunch you should order their lunch choice if needed when you call.
Just a reminder that holidays should be booked outwith school, these have to be recorded as unauthorised absences. Children should also attend on their birthday. Please help us give your child
the best possible start to their education.
