| Welcome to term 3 in P6a! This is a strange term as I will be leaving for maternity leave on 17th January. However, all necessary information including forward plans will be left with the teacher taking over.
Health and Wellbeing: Gymnastics is likely to be covered by the new teacher this term. Until then, we have been dipping our toe into basketball skills which I have been very impressed by! The children have shown some interest in learning about Food technology. As well as this, we will also cover relationships, sexual health and parenthood. More information will be sent to you before they get started. Other curricular areas: The children have done so well in learning through enquiry last term. This term I am leaving topic discussions to be had with their new teacher when they get get started. They will continue to go to ICT every Tuesday with Mr Coyle. As well as this there is a science focus this term which ties in with a trip to the science centre! Please do not hesitate to call the school office with any questions or concerns.
