Pupil Action Groups

Pupil Voice

We believe strongly in, and listen to, ‘pupil voice’. We have a number of pupil committees, or action groups, with representatives from P1-7 where children give their opinions and take on leadership roles to support the work of the school. These are supported by various members of staff throughout the school. The pupil voice groups that we have are:

Pupil Leadership Team – Mrs O’Hagan

GIRFEC – Mrs McGroarty

Eco Warriors – Mrs Stewart

Fairtrade Champions – Miss Dundas and Miss Docherty

Rights – Mr Blyth and Mrs Low

Play Champions – Mrs Heron and Miss Hill

Anti-Racism – Ms D’Souza

Health – Miss Neilson

Digital Champions – Miss Doyle and Mr Coyle

JRSO – Miss Hall

The Head Teacher also meets with different groups of pupils from across the school at ‘Tuesday Talk’ where children are asked for feedback on a range of issues. These opinions are fed into the school improvement plans.
