Room 15

We have had a busy few weeks in Room 15! We have been learning all about the 1960’s for our topic. There is so much to learn about including the civil rights movement, pop art, the moon landing, icons in music and lots of changes/inventions in technologies. In literacy we have been learning tricky words and writing adventure narrative stories. In numeracy we are learning different addition strategies and money. Some of the pupils are going to tell you about some of their favourite work so far!

“I liked making Andy Warhol inspired Pop art hands because they look 3D and I enjoyed painting our hands!” – Callum

“We loved doing I Have a Dream clouds by Martin Luther King who made a speech and said he had a dream that his three children would have fair rights!” – Ava

“We made sculptures from foil inspired by 1960’s dance moves!” – Aarya
