Art & Design

INTRODUCTION

Art and Design makes a unique contribution to the learning experience of all pupils. Through Art and Design, learners have rich opportunities to be creative and to experience inspiration and enjoyment. They are able to explore a wide range of two- and three-dimensional media and technologies through practical activities, and create, express, and communicate ideas. Their studies of the works of artists and designers should enhance their enjoyment and deepen their knowledge and understanding.

In addition, Art and Design allows pupils to become successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens through the range of experiences and skills pupils are actively engaged in.
