This year’s report highlights remarkable achievements across Expressive Arts, including:
🎵 A record 8,498 pupils receiving instrumental tuition, with a 21% increase in participation.
🎭 The triumphant return of Glasgow Schools’ Youth Theatre, bringing High School Musical Jr. to life after a five-year hiatus.
🎨 Glasgow Schools’ Art Exhibition, showcasing the outstanding creativity of secondary pupils in a professional gallery setting.
🎶 Citywide projects like ‘Everyone Belongs’ and our Celtic Connections partnership, engaging thousands of young people in inspiring music-making experiences.
👶 The expansion of Baby Strings, now reaching over 2,000 primary pupils with whole-class string tuition.
From world-class Play Days & Masterclasses to the Framework for Expressive Arts, which supports teachers in delivering high-quality arts education, CREATE continues to transform learning experiences across the city.
