Guitar Ensemble

Guitar Ensemble allows young guitarists to rehearse and perform together as part of a city-wide group.

Who it’s for

Guitar Ensemble is aimed at guitar players in S1 and above who are working at Grade 3 and above.

What happens

Pupils rehearse as part of a guitar ensemble, developing confidence, ensemble skills and performance experience with other young guitarists.

Where and when

Venue: City Halls, 87 to 101 Albion Street, Glasgow, G1 1LH.

How progression works

As young people develop their musical and ensemble skills, they may also audition to join the Big Band. Tutors and conductors will support this process when pupils are ready for the next step.
