Clarinet Choir

Clarinet Choir gives young clarinettists the chance to rehearse and perform together as part of a specialist ensemble.

Who it’s for

Clarinet Choir is aimed at clarinettists working at Grade 4 and above, by teacher recommendation only.

What happens

Pupils rehearse together as a clarinet ensemble, developing confidence, listening skills and musical awareness through group performance.

Where and when

Venue: City Halls, 87 to 101 Albion Street, Glasgow, G1 1LH.

How progression works

As young people develop their musical and ensemble skills, they may also join the Concert Band, then the Symphonic Wind Band, and ultimately the Glasgow Schools’ Symphony Orchestra. Tutors and conductors will support this process when pupils are ready for the next step.
