Nurturing and Supporting Mental Wellbeing

Information for Children and Young People

Healthier Minds Team

A new team called Healthier Minds has been created to support your mental and emotional wellbeing (10-18 years). The team includes people from different services, who have lots of experience and knowledge to ensure that you receive the support that best meets your needs.

Healthier Minds Screening Hub

The hub meets every week to review the referrals. The people involved in the hub are shown below:

What happens next?

After discussion at the hub, your trusted adult will talk to you about the support that has been offered. If accepted we will contact you to begin the support.

How to access support

If you are feeling low and need some help speak to a trusted adult, either at home or at school. However, if you would rather contact us directly, click on the link below to share your contact details and a member of the Healthier Minds team will call you back.

I am a young person and I would like to submit a self-referral

Please note: The mailbox will be monitored Monday-Friday 9am – 4:30pm and a member of the team will be in contact with you within 14 working days (excluding public holidays).
