The BeYou Project have collated resources for young people to help them understand what they or others around them are feeling.  There are general resources for all young people who think they might be lesbian, gay, bisexual or are questioning their sexual orientation, and/or who think they might be trans, non-binary or are questioning their gender identity.  And there are specific resources on topics such as Sexual Health, Language, Housing and Homelessness Support, Crisis Support and more.  Click here to access.

 

MindOut  is a mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer people.

The services provides:

LGBT Health and Wellbeing –

‘We have identified other information resources that are useful for supporting LGBT adults with learning disabilities on topics relating to sexual health, relationships and gender identity. These include accessible information leaflets, resources and signposting for parents of LGBT people, general LGBT guides and resources to inform professionals in their practice. We are always interested to hear about any resources that you have found relevant or useful for this purpose, so please do get in touch if you have any suggestions.’
