Willow has safely arrived.
Last Saturday Mrs Wilson took Willow to Edinburgh on the Train, he stayed overnight then Heather took him to Aberdeen on Sunday.
We started making our Enterprise activity for the Christmas Market.
We made lovely pictures with Mrs MacDonald.
We made soup in Cookery and then had it for snack the next day – yummy!!
Adam did great in his Walker.
We all loved seeing Jessica’s holiday photos.
We worked out how long it would take us to get to Aberdeen.
Driving would take 3 hours and 2minutes, the train 3 hours and 55 minutes and the bus 4 hours and 28 minutes.
Reece loves helping with Shannon’s switch and telling her parents all the news from the Pine Room.
Melanie made us giggle with her relaxed pose!!
Rebound Therapy
The Stars class enjoyed rebound therapy today. Everyone wore a happy smile as they worked hard.
Walk Together Week- FAOL
Last week Comet class decided to see how far we could walk in one week. Everyday we went for a walk around the school and counted how many steps we took. Some of us even kept track of how many metres we had walked. At the end of the week we added up all our steps to see how many we had walked. We all had lots of fun doing so much walking!

Our Snowglobes!
* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, EFFECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS *
The Bluebells class have worked hard this week on our Christmas snowglobes. We painted a sleigh, reindeer and a candy cane. We glued snow and put glitter for decoration. Also, we made a mini Santa and presents.
We hope you enjoy looking at our snowglobe in the atrium at the Christmas Fayre.
Perfect Penguins!
* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS *
The Bluebells class did some step by step drawing creating a penguin. We were very proud of our efforts!
This week we were very lucky and got to go a trip to the cinema to see Spiderman. Everyone was very responsible as it was very busy with a lot of other schools. Spiderman was clearly a very popular film choice for the Into Film Festival.
Meanwhile the rest of the week has been feeling a lot like Christmas in November, everyone worked together and were all effective contributors to create our Enterprise item, Candy cane Elves to sell at the Christmas market.
We pieced together our class igloo and added some lights, we have all had great fun taking it in turn to lie in the igloo and look through the star shapes that are cut out the roof.
Cameron enjoyed pretending to be a walking igloo, once he realised his head could fit through the roof.
Streaming in the Bluebells Class!

Miss Gemmell’s numeracy streaming group were very busy today! We used numicon materials and had lots of fun! We worked in pairs and took turns to fill the board using numicon shapes, with no gaps!
We also ordered the numicon shapes showing the numbers 1-10 and played a hide and seek game.
Christmas Craft
The Transition boys were Effective Contributors when they finished their Christmas Craft items. They all focussed very well when they use the sewing machine and made sure they were safe. They filled their items with rice and made the instructions. If you want to find out what they made you can buy them at the Willowbank Christmas Fair. See you there!
