The Stars Class enjoyed making Mexican Quesadillas at HE and had a colour treasure hunt in the garden. We were able to match all the colours. We made a poster to highlight UN Convention on the Rights of a Child, article 15, ‘You have the right to choose your own friends’. We are getting to know our new classmates and created playdoh faces to display.
The Transition boys worked together in the cooking room to make pizza. They all chose their ingredients and put their pizzas in the oven. After eating them, they all ensured that their dishes were cleaned and put away.
The boys in the Oak class are all happy to be back in school and straight into their hard work.
We have had a busy couple of weeks here are some of the photos of the boys being confident individuals.
Please find below updated lunch menus. We are currently on Week 3.
The Transition boys enjoyed some chill-out and reading time this afternoon. We were all calm and quiet and handled the books with care.
Poppy the Spaniel came to visit the Transition boys this afternoon. We all had very kind hands when we were petting her, throwing her toys and giving her some treats.
This boys and girls in the Pine class have been learning about owls. Today the children worked together to create an owl habitat, using recycled materials and natural resources. The model will be used during literacy and role play.
Excellent work from these successful learners and effective contributors.
A huge thank you to the Brass & Granite. As part of their AED Community Spirit programme, they have very kindly donated a defibrillator to our school.
We are extremely appreciative and grateful for the donation of this potentially life-saving piece of equipment.
