Pudsey Activities

The Stars Class enjoyed Pudsey activities on Friday afternoon. We handled dotty water beads, made dotty Pudsey pictures and had Pudsey dotting all over the magic carpet! We even had tasty Pudsey decorated cakes and shortbread for snack. Earlier in the week we finished making ‘junk’ houses and recently we have enjoyed outings to B&Q, The Range and Hansel Village.

The Moonbeams class loved visiting the Garage Leisure Centre yesterday where we had a game of ten pin bowling. This was a special treat due to us now finishing our Flintstones theme and we had lots of fun pretending to bowl like Fred Flintstone! We finished off our outing with a Wimpey snack.

Scotland Remembers

On Wednesday, it was the turn of the Transition boys to host the assembly for the secondary department which was a Remembrance service.  All the boys were Successful Learners on the lead up to and during the assembly. They all took part in different activities like creating their own poppy and were even lucky enough to try on some uniforms that our soldiers would have worn

It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

The boys in the Transition class have all been Effective Contributors this week as we have started our preparations for our school Christmas show. Every day we have been practising our signing and have made our Christmas tree decoration to go on the display wall.

Roon the Toon

The Transition Boys were Responsible Citizens when in Kilmarnock Town Centre on Thursday morning. We all walked from school and had a look round the shops to see if anyone had their Christmas decorations up yet and we did spot a  few. So as a wee reward for being so well behaved all the boys voted to get some chips before heading back to school. Great wee trip out.
