Our theme is the Hungry Caterpillar. We were able to identify some fruits and vegetables and use these to complete some art work. We cut up the fruit and vegetables and dipped them in paint and made printing patterns on the paper. We investigated the print in made. Some worked better than others. We really liked the pear shape it made. We used carrots, potatoes, apples and pears.

The Moonbeams have worked hard this week during their Food and Technology theme lessons. We made edible paint by mixing sugar, water and food colourings. The children then decorated slices of bread with a variety of paint colours. Take a look at our beautiful designs.
We went to Tesco for our outing this week. The children choose a snack and drink in the Café and then went shopping with our pictorial shopping list. They used their counting skills to count the items and count the pound coins as we were paying. We had a very successful day out and the children all behaved very responsibly.
