The Bluebells has fun making some clothes peg dolls for their class display board. The boys and girls used some lovely, sensory fabrics to create clothes for the dolls by drawing around a template.
Effective contributors. Superb!

The Bluebells class worked together to create an Odd and Even Street. We sorted houses into two categories and then had to put the odd numbers on one side of the street and even numbers on the other side.

We have been trying to make different Scottish foods throughout our theme, and today we enjoyed making and trying Scotch pancakes.
We measured out the ingredients and mixed everything together before being very confident individuals and trying what we had made.
We have been trying to increase our independence through using the iPad to follow visual recipes, and to check what ingredients to add next.

The Sungazers have been learning about vibrations and sound waves as part of their science sessions. Mr Dreghorn kindly brought in some fantastic musical instruments for us to explore.
The first was a Theremin which we played using our hands to vary the sound waves. Ryan was a natural and everyone enjoyed using this the best. We also used an Ottomatone, a Stylophone, a Flexitone and a Tambura…. lots of new sounds for us to explore. We all enjoyed making lots of noise!!!

Successful Learners Confident Individuals
The Snowdrops have been exploring famous Glasgow landmarks. We found pictures about ship building and boats which sailed on the River Clyde. Everyone experienced fun water play with different sized boats in class.

After all their hard work, the Transition boys blew off some steam with a brilliant ceilidh on Friday afternoon. The boys were Effective Contributors joining in dances with other classes. A great end to a great day!

The boys were Confident Individuals and served all the food carefully and with great manners. As School Captain Ethan sat at the top table and made the Transition Class very proud. Well done all!
