FAOL – WHOLE SCHOOL SPORTS DAY

All the Sungazers took part in our annual Sports Day event yesterday. We started off with the flat race, then moved on to the sack race, and ended with a team relay. We showed support to our peers in the school by cheering from the sidelines whilst they raced. A fun day had by all!

We practised hard for our sports and had a great time on the day. We ran a flat race, novelty race and then a relay race. Our novelty races were the egg and spoon race or the sack race. Everyone was cheering.

The Sunflowers have had an excellent Sports Day and participated well in three races. Each child took part in the flat race and egg and spoon race and were cheered on by their peers. To finish, we had an infant corridor relay race! Well done everyone!

Today was a super day for all in Willowbank School.
We brought our chairs to the playground and sat ready for it to begin. We competed in a flat race, novelty race and a relay race.
They all actively participated taking part in each race. For the novelty race they had to run with a hoop and put the hoop on a cone the pick up a bean back and put it in another hoop then run to the finish line. Great fun was had by all.
