ECO council and recycling group

17.01.18 Environmental Review

Our primary 1 – 7 boys and girls were working side by side, taking individual sections each to review our school for one of our seven elements of our Eco Application. A very proactive meeting – Well done to the Eco Committee!

29.11.17 An excellent afternoon of Eco Code design for our school from the Eco Committe. Look out for the Gargieston Eco Codes displayed at the front entrance, Eco board and across all bases next week. So lovely to see children of all ages across p1-7 working together.

8.11.17 Well done to the Eco group who worked hard in the muddy garden to help to clear the weeds from the beds. You all worked really well together as a team! Next week when we meet for our participation groups we will complete our School Eco Code and the group will be issued with Eco badges.

Recycling Materials
As an Eco-friendly school, Gargieston Primary School and ECC is always looking at ways to recycle. Our Early Years classes would like you to save wrappings paper, old birthday cards, gift bags/boxes, wool, material, and wallpaper – anything for art! We would also appreciate dressing up clothes, jigsaws, toys, lego etc. Games for older classes to use at wet breaks would also be useful, as would books for our library. Thank you!
