More success from P6B girls!

Another of our P6B girls has had sporting success! Rose Gilmour won the Ayrshire Short Tennis Championship Girls Singles for 2022. This is not her first success in tennis so we can see what a super player she is! Here is Rose with her trophy from today.

Well done, Rose!

Wider Achievement

We always like hearing all about the children’s success out with school hours, so we were delighted to hear a good news story about two of our P6B girls. Eilidh Mitchell and Megan Haggarty competed for Kilmarnock Harriers at the Emirates Arena recently – Eilidh in the 60m sprint and standing long jump; Megan in the 60m sprint and 600m. They came second in the finals bringing home the silver medal! Well done, girls, a fabulous achievement!

More World Book Day fun……

Can you help ?

We have been asked to put out a request for help again – this time to make slings for Ukraine.

Rough measurements – 106/106/154cm or 94/94/134cm.
Doesn’t matter the colour and the edges should be finished with zig zag or overlock stitch .

Must be cotton fabric .

These can be handed into the school office.

Within the next week / two weeks if possible .
Thanks in advance ❤️

World Book Day

What a fun day we had for World Book Day! Across the school there were challenges, quizzes, activities and, of course, our sponsored read! Well done to all the children for their fabulous costumes, enthusiasm and fun!

The Masked Reader has been such a popular daily puzzle this week as well – we hope you’ve been playing along at home too!
