Burns Competition Winners
Huge congratulations to the Clarke family on their double success at the Ayrshire Association of Burns Clubs Schools’ Competition.
Isla won the P4-5 category after reciting Burns poem ‘To A Mouse’ and younger brother Nathan came 2nd in the P1-3 section with ‘The Crocodile’ by J K Annand. Thank you to both of you for representing the school so well – we’re so proud of you!

Roon The Toon School Challenge
Congratulations to the runners who represented Gargieston at Roon the Toon yesterday. The team came 1st and were awarded £500 for school funds – what a fantastic achievement!

If you have not previously applied for your child’s NEC/Kidz Kard then please apply ASAP through the relevant link below to ensure the card is processed in time for the holidays as it provides many benefits which includes your child being entitled to the Young Persons Free Bus Travel Scheme allowing them to travel for free on buses across Scotland.

P2 and P3 Gargie Go Green!
P7B are holding an event for P2 and P3 called Gargie Go Green!
It is being held this Friday 10th June and the children will have fun learning about how to reduce, reuse and recycle!
If you child is in P2 or P3, they can come to school dressed in green (no football strips) on Friday. Some activities will be outside, so please bring a jacket to school.
Throughout this week, please ask your child to bring in any cleaned-out recycling items from home. These will be used for some plastic modelling on Friday!
