★ Star of the Week ★

Well done to last weeks Star of the Week winners for sharing toys outside 😀

Guests at Fenwick Primary School

Last week we were delighted to send a group of Primary 7 children to Fenwick Primary to help them set up their new blogs and eportfolios. Our P7s shared their knowledge and enjoyed meeting the class. They also took part in some active maths activities.

Musical Talent

We were delighted to see pictures of the East Ayrshire Schools String Orchestra at the Spring Spectacular held recently in The Grand Hall. Performing on the night was Katy Newlands – one of our Primary 7 children. Katy is a talented musician and we are very proud of her achievements. Looking closely it is also great to see some former pupils amongst the group too!

Howard House visit to ECC

The residents from Howard House enjoyed a visit to the ECC this afternoon. The children enjoyed teaching Kathy how to play badminton.

Snapshot Week

This week has been Snapshot week at Gargieston.

Please look out for your child’s Snapshot jotter in their bag tonight.

We hope that you enjoy looking at your child’s work and discussing their learning with them.  Please leave a comment for your child on their feedback sheet.

Please ensure that all Snapshot jotters are returned to the school on Monday 18th March.

ECC water wall

Thank you very much to Georgia’s Dad who donated the ECC a large piece of wood to create our water wall and to Ella’s Grandad who very kindly donated us the pipe and all the supplies to create our water wall.  Ella’s Grandad also put the whole thing together for us. We can’t wait to get it outside so that our children can explore it

K-nex Challange

Recently in electives, Miss Davidson chose two p6 pupils for the K-nex challenge. Good luck to Poppy Alexander and Isla Crawford in the challenge tomorrow.
