Children’s Mental Health Week – Dress Down
What?
Children’s Mental Health Week – Let’s Connect Take part in ‘Dress to Express‘ to support Place2Be, a charity who raise vital funds to help more children and young people get the emotional support they need.
When?
Wednesday 8th February
How?
Donate to Place2Be and come to nursery or school dressed to express yourself. For example, if you have a bright and bubbly personality you may choose to wear bright and whacky clothing. Remember, they don’t have to match…!
Please no PJs or football clothing.
Why?
Place2Be believe every child should have easy access to mental health support whenever they need it. They create safe spaces in schools where students can open up without pressure, arming them with emotional skills to help deal with everything life throws at them. As a charity, Place2Be rely heavily on the generosity and support of the community to continue their essential work in the future and to reach children before it’s too late.

P7 Leavers Hoodies 2023

We would like to invite orders for the popular, and now traditional, P7Leavers’ Hoodies. There is no obligation to buy. The children will have the opportunity to see the sizes as we have samples from Rainbow Ink, and Mr McDowell and Mrs Mackie will help advise them on the correct size.
Prizes are £16.75 for the children’s / youth sizes or (£16.75 + vat) £20.10 for the adult sizes. To give you a rough guide, we generally find that the tallest children of any year group need the Small or Medium Adult sizes.
There are certain regulations we must follow. The adult sizes have a draw-string cord round the hood. To sell this to you we must have your permission to pull out this cord before we give it home to you. Secondly, we must ensure you state how you would like your child’s name to appear on the back of the hoodie. The choices being: first name and surname; first name and initial of surname; first name only.
Payment can be made through Parent Pay. Please ensure you pay the correct amount depending on your size selection – child or adult size / £16.75 or £20.10.
This ordering process is quite lengthy as they make a proof for us to verify before they start the full printing process, so we fully expect the hoodies to arrive sometime in the New Year.
