As part of P6’s John Muir award, Evie Dudgeon wrote a letter to Theresa May about looking after the environment. She has received a reply from her Correspondence Officer.
Here are the Superstars from last week’s assembly.
Well done to everyone!!
We were delighted to host the Grange Cluster Kick Start Music programme at Gargieston this weekend. The children performed with confidence and enthusiasm at their concert today – it was amazing to see how much they have learned over the weekend. We were particularly proud of our Gargieston pupils who took part.
We hope that this wonderful opportunity will help our children to develop a love of music for life 🎶🎶
We are hoping to create this in our ECC courtyard. We have managed to get our hands on pallets and the children will be helping to sand these this week to ensure they are all smooth. We are looking for a volunteer to come into the ECC one day and put this together properly for us. If you are able to help please speak to Mrs Hendrie in the ECC. Thank you 😀
Orange/black BMX helmet with full mask and number 88 on it.
Could you please check if your child has mistakenly taken this helmet from the bike shed this week?
Thank you to everyone who attended this weeks play @ home session.
The next session will be on Thursday 16th May and the theme will be making games with junk materials, so if you would like to have some fun with your child and get a few ideas for using junk material then add your name to the list on the communication board but be quick as this is limited to only 6 spaces per session.
A.M. session from 9-9.45
P.M. session from 1-1.45
And so the fun continues…
Thank you so much to the parents who came along to our open forums to discuss the format of our Prize Giving. There was super discussion around many topics including what should continue and what may need altered, how the winner of each prize is decided and also any appropriate additions.
Please take a look at the PowerPoint ( click link above ) from the forums. We would welcome any further comments on this event by Monday 13th May either through the blog or directly to Mrs Lawson.
Many thanks.
