ECC Farm Park Trip

All PM children will be going to Heads of Ayr Farm Park on Thursday 30th May. Please arrive at the ECC between 8.40am and 9.00am as we will be leaving at 9.15am sharp. The bus will return to the ECC at 3.00pm.

Please ensure that children are dressed appropriately and have a disposable packed lunch with them in a carrier bag with their name clearly displayed. Please also ensure that children are dressed weather appropriate e.g puddle suits if required.

There will be no AM session on this day.

Could anyone who has a school ice pack at home please return it to the school.  We are now desperately short again and must have a suitable amount to treat injuries within the school.

Women’s Football – Scotland v Jamaica at Hampden

We have been very fortunate to receive 23 tickets for the women’s international football at Hampden Park tomorrow night. It’s a 7.35pm kick-off. If you would like some of these tickets, they are being given out on a first come first served basis by Mrs Lawson. What a great opportunity to see our women’s national squad play!

Trim Trail Official Opening

What a lovely afternoon we had yesterday at the official opening of our Trim Trail.  The whole school were joined outside by invited guests from East Ayrshire Council and community partners who have supported the project.  The ribbon was cut by Provost Todd, Mrs Work and Mrs Patton and they also unveiled a plaque kindly donated by Mr Wallace at Ayrshire Signs and Graphics.

A group of children demonstrated their skills on the Trim Trail and were followed by Provost Todd who entertained everyone with his attempt to tackle each part of the structure!

Our children are so lucky to have this fabulous play structure in their own playground and we would like to express our thanks once again to the GFG, PTC, the wider parent body and community partners who have turned a dream into reality for our children.

Many thanks also to Mrs Sanders from Love Lila Photography for capturing the joy of this special event for us.

BIKE SHED

We love to see our children arriving to school on their bikes and scooters in this lovely weather. But please encourage them to take care of their bikes, scooters and each other by parking them carefully using the racks provided in the bike shelters.
