Parking
More than one parent has, understandably, contacted us this afternoon extremely concerned about a car which was parked on the pedestrian crossing point at the main car park. There have also been cars parked (no driver inside) on the roundabout and cars with no ‘blue badge’ in the disabled spaces.
Can we please ask drivers to think of the safety of all the children, and indeed adults, when entering the school?

Parent Council Meeting
The next meeting of the Parent Council and Gargieston Fundraising Group will be held on Monday 14th June at 7pm via WebEx. Due to current COVID restrictions the meeting will be held virtually.
A warm welcome is extended to all parents and carers. The meetings can be joined by dialling in from your phone, or via video call from a smartphone, tablet or laptop.

PEACE offer quality, affordable and flexible out of school care for pupils at Gargieston PS and are regulated by the Care Inspectorate.
They offer both breakfast provision and after school provision from 3pm until 6pm.
PEACE can cater for children from Gargieston ECC who are 4 and a half years old and registered to start school in August 2021.

Could we remind all adults that there is a strict no smoking policy within our school grounds? This includes vapes.
Could all parents or carers ensure any adult picking up / dropping children off (grandparents, childminders etc) are made aware of this too?
