Performers and digital leaders should arrive in school at 5.30pm tomorrow evening via the main entrance.
Entry for the audience will be via the doors directly into the school hall. Doors will open at 5.45pm.
Kick Start Music Weekend
We were delighted to host the Grange Cluster Kick Start Music programme at Gargieston this weekend. The children performed with confidence and enthusiasm at their concert today – it was amazing to see how much they have learned over the weekend. We were particularly proud of our Gargieston pupils who took part.
We hope that this wonderful opportunity will help our children to develop a love of music for life 🎶🎶

Parents Evenings
Following your parents meetings, we would appreciate it if you could take the time to visit the gym hall where our Primary 7 pupils will be gathering information via a short online survey. We will also have a stall with information about the Marys Meals Back Pack Appeal and a substantial lost property table.
Many thanks for your continued support.
Our Trim Trail Is Open!!
Our children from the ECC were the first to test out the trim trail this afternoon after we received notification that the safety inspection had been completed.
This is a fabulous addition to our playground and I know that it will be well used by children of all ages.
Look out for information about our official opening in the near future.
Trim Trail Update
Our Trim Trail has now been installed and it looks absolutely fabulous 🙂
HOWEVER…..
We are awaiting an independent inspection to approve and sign off the structure as being safe for our children.
The children must not use the Trim Trail until this safety inspection has taken place.
This will all be explained to the children at assembly on Monday. However, we would appreciate it if you could also explain this to your child so that they do not try to access the Trim Trail when they arrive at school on Monday morning. The structure will be coned off as a visual reminder for everyone.
We hope that you have all enjoyed the holiday and look forward to welcoming all our children back to school at 9am on Monday 15th April for our final busy term of the school year 🙂
Our Trim Trail Has Started!!
So excited to see work starting on our Trim Trail today! This is going to be a fabulous addition to our playground and I can’t wait for the children to return after the holidays and start having fun on it.
Many thanks to you all for supporting this ambitious project and to Mrs Work and our fantastic GFG for making it a reality for our children 🙂
Snapshot Week
This week has been Snapshot week at Gargieston.
Please look out for your child’s Snapshot jotter in their bag tonight.
We hope that you enjoy looking at your child’s work and discussing their learning with them. Please leave a comment for your child on their feedback sheet.
Please ensure that all Snapshot jotters are returned to the school on Monday 18th March.
Euroquiz Team Success
Congratulations to Hassan, Harry, Jamie and Jack who represented Gargieston PS at the Euroquiz Heats yesterday.
The boys were awarded 3rd place (missing out on the 2nd spot by half a point!!)
They were excellent ambassadors for the school and we are all extremely proud of them – well done 🙂
