P1D’s McCoo Naming Competition
Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter our McCoo statue naming competition. We held the draw this afternoon. Now, I don’t know what the odds of this happening are. But, Ruaridh picked the name RUARIDH MCCOO out the hat! So there we have it our McCoo has got a name. All we need is for Steven Brown to add our McCoo to his clan. Fingers crossed.
Wider Achievement
Well done to Annie McDowell, P4, who received her wider achievement certificate today for her achievement in gymnastics.

Rotary Quiz
Congratulations to our P7 quiz team representing Gargieston in the New Laigh Church tonight. After 6 rounds of very difficult questions they came joint second with Onthank – just 1 point behind the eventual winners, Nether Robertland.
We were extremely proud of our team and what a great night for Calum Stewart, Blaike Hay, Katy Newlands and Amy Tickner (plus all their families) to remember.
