How are you today? Today I feel like Mr Chatterbox because on Wednesday evening I always phone my best friend for a chat and we often have lots to talk about.
Who do you feel like today? Remember to ask someone in your house too.
Today for Movement how about a Harry Potter work out?
For life-skills today could you call someone on the phone? Who could you call? Try to think of someone who might really appreciate a call to cheer them up. Remember to check with a parent before you dial! Or you could send someone an e-mail. I always like getting e-mails if you would like to write to me!
Your first lesson today is Literacy so check out Laura’s posts in the Language section.
Then it is time for PE so time to check out what Pedro is up to in the PE section.
Have a break and then it is story-time at 10.30. Today’s story is
Then check out Sign of the Day with Lorna followed by Art with Steve.
Have a nice lunch and then come back for Science with Sarah. Check out my Blog for group 4 and 5 (it’s all about citrus fruits) but if you fancy something more hands-on try my Science post for groups 8 and 10 (all about the senses).
Last thing, Health and Well-being. Why not try this activity again? Get some paper and a pencil and take your ‘pencil for walk’. You’ll be surprised at how relaxing it is!
Today I am feeling like Mr Strong because I have been helping my husband get the fire wood ready for winter. It is giving me strong arms!
Who do you feel like today?
Today is going to be sunny and windy again. I like this kind of weather do you?
For movement today can you find a song about weather to dance along to?
You could try ‘It’s Raining Men’ by The Weather Girls or my favourite weather song ‘Thunderstruck’ by AC/DC – that will definitely get you moving!
For life-skills today practise making someone a drink again. Ask someone in your house what they would like and then get everything you need to make them their drink.
Your first lesson of the day is ICT. Kirsty has a couple of new posts in the ICT / technology section or you may prefer to try out new activity on Topmarks.
Perhaps you could try copying the letters on this game
After ICT it is time for Dance and Rachel has already posted her next dancing hands video for you to learn. If you have missed some of her videos, don’t worry, just look back through the dance section, they will still be there!
Have a break and then come back for story-time at 10.30. Today’s story is
Then check out Sign of the Day with Lorna.
For Fiddly Fingers I thought we could try making some origami animals. Today, can you make a dog? This video will help.
Then it is time for lunch, perhaps a picnic in the garden again if it’s not too windy.
After lunch it is time for Gardening / CDT with Scott and I think he might be doing something fun with weeds (wild-flowers).
Last lesson of the day is Health and Well-being. It has been a while since we had a massage for health and well-being so choose a head, hand or back massage and lie back and relax. Perhaps when you have had your massage you could do one for someone else?
Good morning to everyone in the Orange class. I hope you had a good weekend.
Let’s get going with our Morning Circle
Don’t forget Lorna’s sign of the day!
On Mondays we have P.E. with Pedro. Today it’s Yoga so let’s get started.
Hi everyone,
Hope you had a good weekend are ready for a new week.
Today we’re going to have a beach adventure, who doesn’t like a day in the beach? We are going to follow Moana to her fantastic island for our yoga lesson today.
Remember to take in consideration your surroundings keep safe and have fun, also remember that with family is also more fun.
Just follow the link below and enjoy. Pedro.
How about some Maths? Today we are learning about measuring!
Thanks to Clare.
Now story time! Today a story without words…. One of my all time favourites!
I hope you liked it.
Time for some movement? Let’s have a quick Dance and Freeze – an Orange Class favourite!
Lets get outside for some sensoryfun.
Did you like that?
Finally time to relax. A beautiful game first released on the PlayStation 3 and now on the PS4.
I hope you had a nice weekend and found some fun things to do. I spent my weekend watching the wind blow the tree in my garden. It was very exciting to watch it.
Today I am feeling like Little Miss Sunshine because I think it is going to be a lovely sunny day today.
Who do you feel like today? Remember to ask the people in your house who they feel like too?
For Movement today why not go outside to see if anything has blown into your garden? I am sure there will be leaves and twigs to collect and tidy-up.
For Life-skills you could help to make a picnic lunch to take out in the garden. It is going to be lovely and sunny, just right for a picnic. I wonder what you will make?
Maths is the first lesson of the day so check out Steve’s posts in the Secondary Maths section or try some of Clare’s ideas in general Maths. If you want to stay in the sun do some maths outside. Can you find different things to count or perhaps you could look for different shapes? Or ask an adult to put some numbers up round the garden so that you can find them. Remember to get them in the correct order!
Then it is time for PE. That’s definitely something you could do in the garden. Perhaps it’s a day for practising your throwing skills? Alternatively, check out what Pedro suggests in the PE section.
Have a break and then enjoy a story. You could choose your own book to read in the sun or listen to The Tale of Peter Rabbit (on the blog from 10.30).
Then it is time for Sign of the Day with Lorna followed by Art with Steve.
Have your lunch, I hope you get to have a picnic, and then it is time for Outdoor Learning. In an Blog post in April Gerry suggested a game of eye-spy, perhaps that’s what you could do today?
Last lesson of the day is Health and Well-being. Why not do some sunbathing and watch the clouds roll by? Or you could do some colouring in the garden, listen to music or go for a lovely walk.
