Group 5 Circle Time Monday 1st June
Hello everyone,
I hope you had a good weekend. The weather was very nice and sunny wasn’t it?
Today I feel like Mr Cheerful. Yesterday I met my best friend and we went for a walk together with our dogs. It was the first time I had seen her in a long time and I was very happy to be able to spend time with her.
Who do you feel like today? Did you see some friends you haven’t seen in ages? How did they make you feel?
For movement today why not listen and dance along to ‘You got a friend in me’. Perhaps you could sign along to some of the words too.
For life-skills today you could help wash the car
Help water the plants
Or help hang out the washing
First lesson of the day is Maths. Check out Kirsty’s posts in secondary maths or Clare’s posts in general maths. There are lots of different things to try so just choose something which takes your fancy.
After that it is time for PE, so check out what Pedro is up to today in the PE section.
Have a break and then come back for story time at 10.30. Today’s story is
Then check out Sign of the Day with Lorna.
Then is is time for Art with Steve. I wonder what he will have you drawing today?
Have a nice lunch and then it is time for Outdoor learning with Gerry or maybe you would prefer to take a walk or spend time in your garden.
Last lesson today is Health and Well-being so why not find somewhere comfortable to relax and watch these amazing patterns?
Have a great day.

Hello everyone,
What a beautiful day? How are you feeling this morning?
I’m feeling like Little Miss Busy because I want to get all of my work and chores done quickly so that I can start the weekend!
My movement time today is getting my chores done. I am going to listen to music whilst I tidy, hoover, dust and clean. This is the song I am going to listen to.
For Movement and Life-skills today why not do some chores to music? I wonder what tune you will listen to?
First lesson today is Literacy so check out Laura’s posts in the Language section or perhaps find a story to listen to at the Book Trust –
https://www.booktrust.org.uk/books-and-reading/have-some-fun/storybooks-and-games/
After Language it is time for Social Studies and I think Linda has planned a lesson all about the wind.
Have a break and then come back for story-time at 10.30. Today’s story is
Then check out Sign of the Day with Lorna or, if you fancy a change, you could check out today’s assembly in the Assembly section. I think you might see some faces and hear some songs that you recognise.
After that it is time for Food Technology. Do you think Hazel might have something cool and refreshing for you to make?
Enjoy your lunch and then it is time for ICT so check out what Kirsty is up to in the ICT section.
Last lesson of the day is Music, I bet Connie and Gordon have got something great to finish the week.
Have a lovely day and a great weekend.
See you back here on Monday,
Sarah

Hello everyone,
How are you today? Today I feel like Mr Grumpy again. Can you remember why I am grumpy on a Thursday?
That’s right, it’s shopping day again and that always makes me grumpy!
Who do you feel like today? Remember to ask someone in your house too.
To cheer myself up I am going to do my movement to some disco yoga. This should help.
For life-skills could you help write a shopping list for your family? Get some paper and a pencil and start writing or drawing what you need.
Your first lesson today is Maths, so check out Clare’s posts in the General Maths section. Don’t worry if the posts say groups 1, 2 and 3, you’re allowed to read them too! Just choose some activities you would like to do.
After Maths it is time for Fiddly Fingers and for another origami animal. Try making this cute cat.
Take a break and then come back for story time at 10.30. Today’s story is
Check out Sign of the Day with Lorna and then it is time for Music with Connie and Gordon. I wonder what they are up to today, they are usually having great fun.
Have a nice lunch, perhaps a picnic in the garden again, and then it is time for Dance with Rachel.
Last thing of the day is some sensory time. Why not find somewhere comfortable to relax and watch this sand-shifting video. It certainly relaxes me!
Have a great day.
