Beach soundscape

Hello everyone.
This is what I would like you to do today.
Sing the Welcome song and Achieving Ant man song to prepare for Singalong on Thursday and Assembly with Tracey on Friday.

This soundscape has a beach theme. I have provided this lovely beach picture as a visual stimulus for the beach but perhaps you would like to close your eyes and imagine your own beach scene. Do you have anything at home that reminds you of the beach? Maybe a shell to hold or listen to or something which reminds you of the sound of the waves. Enjoy listening to the music and imagine you’re on a beach.

Language Skills (Secondary)

Good morning everyone,

What lovely weather!

I hope you are enjoying Film Week!

You can choose a different film today and continue with the activities in yesterday’s post, or if you prefer, you can choose one or more of the following:

Setting (place in the film):

  • Tell an adult about the setting of the film e.g. where is it set? What does it look like? What time of day is it? What is the weather like?
  • Draw some pictures to show the setting of the film.
  • Draw some pictures to show the setting of the film and label them.
  • Write a few sentences about the setting of the film e.g. where is it set? What does it look like? What time of day is it? What is the weather like?
  • Write two paragraphs about the setting of the film, including:
  1. Where is the film set? What does it look like? What time of day is it? What is the weather like?

2. How does the setting affect the characters? How does it create atmosphere and mood?               How does the setting make the audience feel? Think about how you feel.

Good luck!
