  • Due to changing in staffing the non contact times for some clans have changed. You can find their times and champions here.
  • There have been a few concerns reported about the carpark this week including: Cars cutting across the carpark to park in disabled bays instead of following the signs for the one way system; cars parking in the accessible parking bays without a badge, meaning there are no spaces left for those who require the bays; stopping at the entrance to pick up children. We would request if you are choosing to use the car park, that you please use it safely and are considerate of others.

  • Bluebell and Bramble clans had a Calderwood first this week as the visited Edinburgh Playhouse to watch Shrek: The Musical! They clans were fantastic, showing manners and respect during our visit. Thank you to all the champs who made the excursion possible.

  • Our clans have all enjoyed their Christmas Parties over the past two weeks. Thank you to the Parent Council for providing our Christmas Party food and snacks, and for organising a visit and present from Santa and Mrs Claus for our Primary 1 and 2 clans.
  • A huge well done to our Primary 2-7 clans who entertained our community at Christmas Around the World last Friday.
  • Merry Christmas from our choir!
  • Our Primary 4 clans held their own Christmas Fayre this week, selling items they designed and create as part of their interdisciplinary learning.

It’s hard to believe that we have had our third Christmas together at Calderwood, time really does fly. As a community, we have achieved so much together in such a short space of time and I am forever grateful to our champions, for all they do, to make a difference for our children. Thank you to our families and the community for your continued support, it is greatly appreciated. I hope you all enjoy the holiday period and I can’t wait to see where 2024 takes us!
