DANCEMARATHON!

BeFunky Collage COLL

Here are some photos from our Dance Marathon yesterday!

We all had a wonderful time and hopefully raised lots of money for our Lenten Appeal!

5, 2 or 1 hour of non stop dancing can be pretty challenging! Well done everyone!

A special THANK YOU to the dance leaders from St Margarets Academy for running a session with us, and the girls from JHM who taught everyone an amazing dance!

Highlights were definitely the class dance off, lip sync battle and best dancer competition!

Remember to bring in your sponsor money by FRIDAY!

A huge thank you from Primary 6!

Primary 6 would like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our Syrian Refugee Appeal. We are overwhelmed with the generosity of everyone at St Nicholas. As you can see from the pictures, the van could not have stored any more of your donations. All of your donations will have reached Calais and are helping refugeeā€™s right now! We are all very proud.

We would also like to thank all of the parents and children who attended our assembly. We worked extremely hard to put together the appeal, the videos and the assembly overall. We loved sharing our hard work with you all and we hope you enjoyed it too!

Lenten Appeal

Yes, it is that time of year again and we have various fun activities planned for our children to raise lots of money for our Lenten Appeal.

Tomorrow is of course Ash Wednesday and we will be celebrating Mass at 11am in school. Primary 3 and 3/2 are leading the Mass.

We will kick off our Lenten Appeal with the Silver Snail Trail. Children are encouraged to build a large snail on the floor made of silver coins – Let’s see if we can make the biggest snail ever this year!!
