Primary 6 News – 22/03/19
Hello everyone,
This week whilst some of p6 have been away at camp, the rest of p6 have been very busy. We have been constructing our own Titanic ships and then floating them. P6 also spent some time solving the clues to a murder mystery, participating in indoor P.E with Mrs Ferguson and outdoor P.E with Mrs Hunter. We did some experiments in Science; discovering what happens to coins and screws when left in ketchup and cola with some interesting results. It made us think about what happens to our teeth when we eat and drink sugary products.
The class also gained experience using Google Expedition on the iPads to visit some amazing places such as the Grand Canyon, the Great Wall of China and the International Space Station. All pupils took part in a quiz about what we had learnt in P6 so far. It has been a jam packed week full of interesting learning experiences.
Our school show is really coming together, we have been practising lots and everyone has done really well this week. It’s less than 2 weeks to go now, keep practising your lines, song lyrics, actions and dances. Keep up the good work!
